No Bare Walls
Remember a certain velvet painting of dogs sitting around a table smoking cigars and playing poker? At one time or another, this painting was synonymous with game room decor. Fortunately, and for the sake of diversity, game room decor has come a long way and the options have expanded. When you want to decorate your game room, the simplest approach is to choose a theme and stick with it so you don't have a menagerie of wall stimuli.
If you've decided the theme of your game room will revolve around billiards, you'll have plenty of options. One of your options could be found in reproduced prints of movie stills. Hollywood has made plenty of movies focusing on billiards. These stills will be a perfect accent to the room. Other options include signs that suggest the proper billiard etiquette.
A game room's decor, however, does not have to follow a theme of a particular game. A lot of game rooms have sports memorabilia on the walls. This is always a good option because sports memorabilia comes with a story.
Another nice touch that doesn't follow one particular theme is neon signs. These signs will do more than just emit a warm glow; they'll create a focal point. With so many options, it might seem overwhelming, but start with a plan and you'll have your game room decorated in no time.
